The Grey Gull Hotel - Ardrishaig

The bed was comfy and it was great having a kettle, central heating and an ironing set. Besides, there was parking on site.

The hotel's location was brilliant, so close to the restaurant, the Crinan Canal and the shore of Loch Gilp. Tidy units with the bedroom as well as a superb loch view, and the staff were personable.

The room was a bit pricey, for me personally.

The delicious meal was a highlight, yet the heating issues were disappointing.

The staff were friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome, even offering to set up a cozy area for us and our dog at dinner. The breakfast was a feast! Kid-friendly options galore, and honestly, the...  

The sea view from the double room offered fine scenery. Spacious accommodations add a nice touch to the relaxing atmosphere.

The exterior needs a serious facelift-rotten window sills dragging down the first impression. Inside, the heating system leaves much to be desired. The television in room 6 was set high, not ideal for cozy movie nights. For what it's worth, I had one night with missing amenities like a teaspoon for coffee. Little details matter, right?

This was just a prime choice for a city break in Ardrishaig with great value for money. The staff were helpful when we asked about local attractions, making our trip more enjoyable. Be sure to check the heating situation before settling into your room.

Great views and cozy vibes!

We stayed for a night and really liked the view from our room! Dinner was nice, and the restaurant decor was super appealing. It was a bit annoying that the grill wasn't open due to gas issues, but the staff did their best to help us out. The parking situation could use some work though.

The room I stayed in was a Twin/ Family Room, spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable environment for rest. The location near Loch Fyne provided fine views.

The Wi-Fi was somewhat unreliable .

We loved our stay, enjoying guided tours at Oban Distillery and fine views while hiking nearby. The activities around were a highlight, and the nature was beautiful. Just a bit of patience was needed at breakfast due to staff shortages, but overall...
